Business Banker, Vice President

Description  Wintrust Financial Corporation (Wintrust) is a financial services company based in Rosemont, Illinois, with approximately $27 billion in assets. The Business Banking Relationship Manager is a position responsible for soliciting, negotiating and coordinating the closing and management of commercial loans from $250,000 to $5,000,000..  In addition to developing new and existing personal & business relationships in a specific market in accordance with assigned goals, the Business Banking Relationship Manager is also responsible for working closely with credit underwriting team members and administrative staff to ensure that all business is managed in an efficient manner and compliant with required deadlines.   Generates new business banking loans according to loan policy guidelines, the bank's risk tolerance and regulatory guidelines.     Assists in development and implementation of business strategies to maintain and expand existing client relationships and growth of new relationships. Takes responsibility for implementation, execution, and achievement of team's goals.  Sets a leadership example by taking ownership and exceeding personal goals.   Builds knowledge of all clients and prospects by compiling an in-depth profile of commercial business owners and other principals. Ensures client's depository, cash management and investment needs are identified and met.  While working within established credit guidelines, exercises appropriate discretion in analyzing merits of specific credit and loan prospect requests. Adds value to client / prospect interactions, rather than simply conveying circumstances of opportunities for other bank officers to provide direction. Makes loan presentations to appropriate loan committees, when required. Qualifications 7 to 10 years of banking experience in a lender role.  Must have depth in credit and strong experience serving clients with revenues between $5M and $50M. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
