The Salem Group is a 3 time Inavero award winning “Best in Staffing” staffing firm that focuses on Administrative, Customer Service, Financial, Accounting, Marketing, and Pharmaceutical placements

  • Promoted to SR. Staffing Coordinator after 6 months and given Account Manager duties of 2 top billing accounts after 1 year of employment

  • Billed over $50,000 in direct hire placement fees in 2015

  • Increased branch billing hours from 300/week hours in January 2015 to over an average of 2000 hours/week in September 2016

  • Created and implemented a new hire training program for internal recruiters that outlined a 3-day training program to ensure compliance of policies and best practices

  • Schedule face to face interviews for further exploration of candidates’ employment history, career expectations, and administer skill assessments

  • Account Manager for several large accounts- Managing candidate submittals, client communication, offer negotiations, and continuous relationship building efforts

  • Analyze data to determine the efficiency of recruiting efforts and HR policies in order to make recommendations to executive team based off of findings

  • Negotiate bill and pay rates to ensure a minimum of 70% mark-up in order to exceed the cost of burden

  • Working knowledge of Workers Comp codes, ACA policies, and federal/state employment laws

  • Awarded platinum club member (24+ deals a month) in May

  • 100% inside sales calls directly to restaurant owners in the Eastern territory

  • 80-100 outbound dials per day (90% cold calls, 10% follow up) with a minimum of 80 minutes of talk time required

  • Assisted with the registration process and ensured restaurant was activated on the website in a timely manner

  • Successfully hit and exceeded the 13 restaurants/month activation quota each month

Project Manager; Global Strategic Alliances and Supplier Diversity-(2013-2014)

  • Generated business partner leads and relationship by researching WBEs, MBEs, Veteran and LGBT owned businesses in order to increase diversity spend from 15.8% in 2013 to a goal of 27.3% by the end of 2014

  • Attended nationwide conferences, such as the WBENC conference, to network with decision makers and potential clients

  • Educated team members on maintaining Certified Women Business Enterprise accreditation and participated in multiple WBE accreditation seminars  

  • Ensured company was in compliance with WBE counsel requirements and collaborated with Executive team to collect all documentation for mandatory audits


Internal Recruiting Lead- (2012-2013)

  • Sourced, screened, and interviewed viable candidates for internal recruiting and sales positions utilizing job boards and referral program

  • Reviewed, critiqued, and revised resumes, as well as coached candidates through the interview process

  • Placed 40+ cold calls and connected with at least 10 new candidates per day

  • Supervised a team of 2 internal recruiters and ensured compliance of policies and best practices

  • Scheduled and coordinated in house interviews with candidates and President and processed offer letter and rejection notices

  • Ensured all onboarding documents were completed and coordinated start information

  • Coordinated travel arrangements and itinerary for Executive team to attend nationwide conferences
